This interaction with decision-makers from 15 countries of the region was held in Costa Rica, as well as in Panama, Colombia, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Participants represented all social sectors involved in decision-making. The training was offered as 15-day courses, seminars, round tables and shorter conferences. The main outcome of this interaction was the development of a document entitled “Fundamental Milestones for Elaborate and Implement an Integrated Coastal-Marine Management Plan” in the Greater Caribbean.
